What’s on the menu for the Sidemen? A cooking competition split between YouTube and Prime Video.

The creator supergroup that revived Supermarket Sweep on YouTube is ordering up another culinary competition. The Sidemen are launching a series titled Sidemen Presents: SideMenu, which will see release across two platforms: YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.

As the Sidemen have looked to level up beyond their roots on YouTube, they have used game show and reality formats to expand their footprint to additional platforms. Inside, for example, is a Big Brother-style competition that premiered on YouTube but eventually moved to Netflix as the Sidemen sought additional reach.

SideMenu will put a Sidemen spin on the cooking competition shows that are ripe for creator-led reconfigurations. Each episode of the upcoming original series will pair members of the Sidemen with guest competitors for team-based culinary challenges. Per Deadline, there will be “mystery box twists” (akin to Chopped) and cuisine-based challenge themes (a la Top Chef).

Judges will include culinary creators like Harrison Webb and Sorted Food. Notably, some members of the Sidemen will not appear in the first season of SideMenuKSI, for example, was reportedly unavailable to participate in the shoot.

The distribution strategy for SideMenu will be unconventional. The premiere episode will drop on the MoreSidemen YouTube channel on June 18, but the following three installments will hit Prime Video first. Eventually, all four eps will be available on both YouTube and Amazon.

MoreSidemen reaches nearly ten million subscribers. The main Sidemen YouTube channel counts more than 23 million subscribers.

The Sidemen and their management team at Arcade have spent the past few years developing the creator group into a sprawling media company, complete with an in-house production studio. The Sidemen business plan has drawn inspiration from big-name creators like MrBeast, and now the group is bringing its brand to Prime Video, just like MrBeast did with Beast Games.

“Our fans at home will be able to watch a new type of episodic content on our YouTube channel,” said Sidemen Entertainment CEO Victor Bengtsson. “Meanwhile, a new audience on Prime Video will find personalities from the creator space packaged on their TV screens. We’re very excited to see SideMenu come to life.”

In 2026, the Sidemen have as much cultural cachet as ever, so it’s a good time for the group to introduce new game show formats. They’ve already put twists on famous shows like Supermarket Sweep. Now, they’ll join the growing list of creators who are inventing the next generation of coveted competition formats.
