For years, Cody Ko and Noel Miller enjoyed a thriving partnership on YouTube and in the podcasting world. But after allegations against Ko have resurfaced, the latter half of that duo is trying to figure out what to do with the company he and Ko built together.
Here’s the story so far, for those out of the loop: Ko and Miller were the co-founders and hosts of Tiny Meat Gang (TMG), a podcast that got hundreds of millions of downloads and evolved into a sprawling media company. Ko’s success came to a grinding halt when creator Tana Mongeau reiterated allegations she had previously alluded to. She claimed that she had a sexual encounter with Ko when she was 17 and he was 25, even though a friend warned Ko that Mongeau was too young to consent.
Commentators across YouTube admonished Ko for his actions, and the creator was eventually removed from his role at TMG. what has transpired over the past few weeks is a personal issue for him, and Cody wants to remove any effect this is having on your professional and personal lives and the work you and our other hosts have done to make TMG Studios so successful,” reads a memo shared with TMG employees. “Noel will continue to lead the team.”

Miller must now figure out a direction for TMG that doesn’t involve one of the studio’s founding figures. That’s no small task, but the Canadian comedian is ready to embrace change. In the first new episode of the TMG podcast since Ko’s departure from the company, Miller included a statement regarding the man he’s worked with since the days of Vine.
“Understandably, a lot of you want to know what I have to say about everything that’s happened, and the reality there is that I’m not in a position to speak about the situation,” Miller said. “I took some time and figured out a new direction for the show and where I want to go with the company overall.”
That new direction will include a studio renovation, and as that work gets done, Miller is taking TMG on the road. He traveled to West Virginia to meet up with Will Survives, who served as the co-host for the pivotal TMG episode.
Some viewers praised Miller for his composure. Others cracked deprecating jokes about the post-Ko vibe at TMG.
As Miller negotiates a chaotic moment for TMG, he will continue to entertain audiences with his stand-up comedy sets. He recently added seven more dates for his “New Supply” tour, which he kicked off with an accompanying special last year.
