ViewStats is going pro. The YouTube analytics platform co-founded by MrBeast now includes a Pro tier that offers five premium products.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, discussed ViewStats during an 80-minute discussion with former YouTube exec and creator economy expert Jon Youshaei. The most-subscribed individual creator on YouTube told Youshaei that ViewStats emerged out of a six-year development process. Now, some of the tools designed during that time are getting put in a paid tier.
“These things require a lot of data and we have a giant team to turn them into something on the website that’s actually useable,” Donaldson explained, “which is why it’s on ViewStats Pro.”

Donaldson clarified that ViewStats users will still have free access to the basic platform, where they can find the same viewership data that informs MrBeast videos. Donaldson and ViewStats Co-Founder Chucky Appleby established their analytical venture to present YouTube statistics in an unfussy and customizable layout.
Creators who want to level up their dashboard can invest in ViewStats Pro, which carries a price tag of $49.99 per month. Donaldson told Youshaei that the Pro edition of his platform is “‘as cheap as possible” as will help recoup costs associated with ViewStats. He said that the MrBeast company has spent $2 million converting its internal tools into user-ready products.
In a video embedded on the ViewStats Pro homepage, Donaldson detailed the five products that are currently available for Pro users:
- Outliers, which attempts to explain why some videos get exponentially more views than others.
- Thumbnail Search, which finds thumbnails that are similar to the ones selected by users.
- Access to “every A/B thumbnail test ran on YouTube,” according to Donaldson. Thumbnail testing is a key component of the ViewStats experience.
- Alerts that generate video ideas by letting creators know when other channels upload videos that touch on the topics they’re interested in.
- Collections that group together multiple ViewStats Pro videos in one space.
Donaldson and Youshaei applied Outliers analysis to MrBeast videos during their conversation:
These tools are only the start for ViewStats Pro subscribers. Donaldson said that his team has “a roadmap with a dozen other tools we want to roll out over time.” As those features arrive, Pro users will be the first ones to try them out.
