Kit Brown is a teacher who’s big on TikTok. He’s writing a book to shows kids “How To Shine” at school.

Kit Brown is writing a book that will help primary school kids build confidence. Brown, a teacher with 1.9 million followers on TikTok, is the author of the upcoming title How to SHINE at Primary School: Build Classroom Confidence and Playground Positivity.

Hachette Children’s, an imprint of publisher Hachette Book Group, acquired the rights to Brown’s kid-friendly guide. Topics covered in the book will include self-acceptance and resilience. Through his inspirational life lessons, Brown hopes to teach kids how to overcome classroom challenges and adapt to shifting friend groups.

“Every child deserves someone who champions them to be the best that they can be, but their biggest champion should always be themselves,” Brown said in a statement. “Life is going to present children with setbacks and there are going to be hurdles to overcome, but by being resilient, comfortable in who they are and approaching life with a positive mindset, I believe that nothing can stop them. This uplifting book will inspire every primary school student who reads it to aim high and shine in their lives, both inside and outside the classroom.”
