Colin and Samir team with Kajabi to share the secrets behind their “Creator Startup”

A pair of YouTube insiders are bringing their industry knowledge to a 30-day online course. Colin and Samir have partnered with Kajabi to launch an educational series called Creator Startup.

The course is described as a “live-cohort series” that will include group sessions, guided exercises, and social components. Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry possess many creator economy insights and connections, but their Kajabi course will specifically focus on the business side of their career. A press release from Kajabi describes audience, value prop, process, and monetization as the pillars of the Creator Startup program.

Kajabi CEO Ahad Khan said that Creator Startup will teach students “how to build consistent revenue” on their channels. He described Colin and Samir’s creator economy insights as “unmatched,” though Kajabi is no stranger to the burgeoning online video business. Last March, it announced that it had paid out more than $5 billion to creators through its suite of marketing, ecommerce, and audience development tools.

By October, that number reached $6 billion. Kajabi has looked to increase its profile by partnering with VIP creators to launch “digital knowledge products.” Colin and Samir’s Creator Startup course seems to fit that description.

Chaudry said that Kajabi was an “obvious choice” for Creator Startup because the creator economy company is “at the forefront” of its industry. “We made Creator Startup for our younger selves,” Chaudry said in a statement. “Looking back, had we known what we know now, we would have had a much easier time turning our love of making videos into a business. This is exactly why we wanted to create a tangible resource that shows creators step-by-step how to own their brand and revenue while they build a sustainable creator business.” Collaborating with Kajabi was an obvious choice. Not only are they at the forefront as a platform for creators; they’ve also mastered the art of empowering creators to generate revenue and establish lasting, creator-driven enterprises.”

Entry into Creator Startup costs $1,797. Colin and Samir are also offering free access to an Idea Generation Framework they use for their videos. The first Creator Startup cohort is set to kick off on February 5.
