Crayola, TheSoul bring holiday decor to YouTube Kids with playlist of “magical winter moments”

Need help with your Yuletide decorations? Crayola‘s new YouTube Kids playlist offers some ideas for your holiday trimmings. The crayon company teamed up with TheSoul Publishing to publish a four-video series of “Magical Winter Moments” on YouTube’s family-friendly hub.

The videos in the Magical Winter Moments match the style and subject matter of the content on 5-Minute Crafts, one of the most successful channels operated by TheSoul. Viewers who watch the playlist (whether on Crayola’s YouTube channel or the YouTube Kids home screen) will learn the instructions for simple holiday crafts made out of household materials like paper and clay. Crayola products like Model Magic also factor into the mix.

The partnership pairs Crayola’s brand identity with TheSoul’s digital production chops. The Cyprus-based company has brought billions of views to channels like 5-Minute Crafts by working across multiple formats

and appealing to a global audience.

“We are incredibly proud of our ongoing relationship between TheSoul and Crayola,” said Francesco Miceli, a former YouTube Kids exec who now serves as Head of Content Distribution at TheSoul. “Getting Crayola’s festive playlist featured on YouTube Kids is a great example of the power of Crayola’s brand, our joint ability to generate authentic, valuable content, as well as demonstrating TheSoul’s strong connection with and understanding of platforms.”

The playlist of Magic Winter moments will be available on the YouTube Kids home screen from December 20, 2023 to January 2, 2024. The partnership between Crayola and TheSoul will continue into the new year. The holiday-themed playlist is part of a broader deal between the two companies. That pact was announced earlier this year.
