Sam and Colby’s ‘Conjuring’ house return sells out at 168 movie theaters

Sam and Colby just sold out 168 Cinemark theaters.

In 2021, the spooky-adventure-loving YouTube duo visited the Old Arnold Estate, the house that inspired The Conjuring films. They ended up bailing out of the investigation after various hair-raising occurrences, and the hour-and-a-half-long video of their experiences at the estate has become one of their channel’s most popular uploads.

This year, they went back to Old Arnold–and stayed for a full week.

Those seven days are chronicled in their next YouTube series, A Week at the Conjuring House. Sam and Colby are dropping the first episode on YouTube Oct. 22–but they also snagged a deal with Cinemark to air that episode two days early, on Oct. 19, in 168 theaters across the U.S.

All tickets in all locations promptly sold out.

Sam and Colby have tweeted big promises about the series. After completing filming in August, they tweeted

that they “truly don’t know how to convey how much this week has changed the way we think, our beliefs, and in general the way we will live our lives from now on.”

“what we experienced this past 7 days is not ‘just a video’…this is going to affect us, our friends, our families, and hopefully, millions of you,” they added. “what we captured (yes, we got everything on video) could change any skeptic into a believer.”

For those who didn’t get Cinemark tickets, the first episode will go live on YouTube this Sunday. That episode appears to be the only one slated for theater release, so fans will have the catch the rest in the comfort (or at least comfortable for now) of their own homes.
