Only one of the top five channels from last week’s Global Top 50 has fallen out of that tier. Despite that continuity, none of the top five channels occupied the same chart positions they held last week.

The channel that got the most YouTube views this week was #2 seven days ago, but its punctuation-heavy name has become a familiar sight at the front of our worldwide ranking.
Chart Toppers
DaFuq!?Boom! has returned to the #1 spot for the second time in three weeks. The U.S.-based channel has become one of the most astonishing online video stories of 2023 thanks to its video series known as “Skibidi Toilet.” The idea of people popping out of porcelain thrones may not seem as if it has universal appeal, but the DaFuq!?Boom! audience begs to differ. Over seven days, the channel’s devoted fans contributed 717.2 million weekly views, which pushed the animation hub back into the top spot.
The ascendance of DaFuq!?Boom! pushed KIMPRO out of the #1 spot. The Korean short-form channel just wrapped up its second stint in the Global Top 50 driver’s seat and is now ensconced as the ranking’s runner-up. KIMPRO fans, attracted by the channel’s pop culture references and skits, delivered 655.6 million views during the week that was. The channel now has 16 billion lifetime YouTube views in all.
Last week, CoComelon – Nursery Rhymes finished fourth in the Global Top 50. That was the lowest the American family channel has ranked in our charts since the start of 2023. During the second week of June, CoComelon resumed its march toward the top of the ranking by landing in third place. By claiming 629.8 million weekly views, CoComelon improved its YouTube traffic by 12% week-over-week. It now has 160 million subscribers on its primary channel.
CoComelon may be breaking out of a slump (at least by its lofty standards). This week, it’s T-Series that finds itself in unprecedented chart territory. By finishing in fourth place in the Global Top 50, the Indian record label matched its lowest ranking of 2023. T-Series received 591.1 million weekly views, which was enough viewership to bring its YouTube-leading lifetime total above 225 billion. That record won’t be broken anytime soon.
KL Bro Biju Rithvik rounds out this week’s global top five. The Indian channel, which delivers both long-form and short-form videos, amassed 468.8 million weekly views to move up 24 spots week-over-week.
Top Gainers
Film producers and leading YouTube Shorts channels both seem to live by the same maxim: The more animals, the better. As our friends from the world of fauna conquer the short-form world, their respective filmographies are on full display.
Specifically, I’m talking about Oye Facts. That name may make you think of Latin American greetings, but the channel is a Hindi-language Indian hub that cuts down movie clips and shares them on YouTube Shorts. The featured clips run the gamut from Hollywood classics to Bollywood upstarts, but the most-watched videos on Oye Facts have something in common: They all feature animals.
If you want to revisit the 3D fish from the Chinese blockbuster Journey to the West, you know where to go. If you’re more of a shark person, Oye Facts has you covered. But there’s one animal in particular that the channel’s viewers love most of all: The tiger. Based on that preference, it’s no surprise that Richard Parker, the orange feline from the India-set film Life of Pi, appears in the most-watched Oye Facts clip.
Bolstered by the movies it features, Oye Facts received 269.7 million weekly views in our latest Global Top 50. That put the Indian hub in 33rd place. Not bad for a channel that has only been active on YouTube for about a year-and-a-half.
Clearly, Oye Facts has harnessed the power of the tiger. I’m not surprised. Anyone who watched channels like Safari Sammie knows how amazing big cats can be.
