A new platform wants to be LinkedIn for influencers. Welcome to Creatorland.

Creators who are looking to expand their networks can now access a new professional platform. Creatorland, which can be described as LinkedIn for the creator economy, is now available in beta.

Access to Creatorland is currently restricted to users who have received invites to the platform. Creators who are interested in setting up their profiles can join a waiting list by filling out a form on the Creatorland website.

Creatorland has been onboarding prominent influencers since launching quietly December. The company’s privacy policy prevents it from disclosing a full list of users, but in an email to Tubefilter, a Creatorland rep said that the platform’s 4,000  users have an average of 200,000 followers apiece across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch. Some creators, including Caroline Field and Deaf Frasier, have provided endorsements for the Creatorland website.

Brian Freeman, Creatorland’s Founder and CEO, believes his platform can attract one million creators by the end of the year. “LinkedIn was a major catalyst for growth in my journey as an entrepreneur, and we want to bring that type of opportunity to creators worldwide who are currently being left out,” Freeman said in a statement. “Creators have been craving their own professional network, and we’re excited to finally offer a platform exclusively designed for their needs. Our features are tailored to give creators a new way to generate new business, learn from the most successful creators and industry leaders, and build long-term professional relationships in the creator economy.”

LinkedIn has made its own efforts to onboard influencers, and it has promoted creator-driven content through a number of recent initiatives. Creatorland is looking to challenge LinkedIn by providing a professional networking service that is catered to the creator economy. Users can integrate their profiles with their social accounts to real-time statistics to Creatorland. By listing their preferred content categories and collaborative interests, Creatorland users can find and connect with like-minded professionals.

Creatorland’s invite-only nature is also a big part of its appeal. The young company is building a community of “serious creators and professionals” in order to maximize growth potential for its earliest users. Its leadership team is also working with more than 50 talent management groups, who are onboarding their rosters onto the platform.

It won’t be long before Creatorland supports its launch features with additional creator-friendly updates. In the second quarter of 2023, the platform plans to add an analytics showcase, which will let users compare their social data to similar creators.
