Michelle Khare and Andrea Botez to duke it out at Creator Clash 2 (Exclusive)

Michelle Khare and Andrea Botez are ready to rumble.

They—along with more than 20 other creators—will duke it out during Creator Clash 2, the sequel to last year’s much-watched influencer boxing event.

Botez, who’s 20, is a chess pro and full-time creator with more than a million subscribers on YouTube and a million followers on Twitch. She’s won the U8 Girls Canadian Youth Chess Championship, the Susan Polgar National Open, and in 2015 was named women’s chess champion by the British Columbia Chess Federation.

Khare, who’s 30, has 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube and is known for her “challenge accepted” approach to content, where she’s tried everything from Marine bootcamp to runway modeling to training like an astronaut and joining the U.S.’s No. 1 cheer team.

The two will compete in the super featherweight class at Creator Clash 2, which will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa on April 15. They are the fourth female matchup for this year’s event.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of Creator Clash 2 after the immense success and impact of last year’s event,” Khare tells Tubefilter. “Every challenge I take on, I commit fully, and this is no exception. I look forward to putting on a great show and kicking ass in the ring with Andrea.”

“My first introduction to boxing happened through a mere accident when I signed up for a chess boxing championship,” Botez adds. “Even though I only had six weeks to train for that fight, during that time I felt a new type of discipline and focus that I hadn’t experienced since I quit competitive chess. Training for Creator Clash 2 has been one of the most difficult things I’ve done, but I know my opponent, Michelle Khare, is working just as hard and it is an honor to fight her!”

Creator Clash 2 (which is sanctioned by the Florida State Boxing Commission and sponsored by Raid Energy) has already sold more than 24,000 tickets, organizers tell Tubefilter.

Like the first Creator Clash, this year’s event will donate all net profits to charities selected by combatants. Recipient charities include: Sarcoma Foundation of America, Critical Role Foundation, American Heart Association, Kids Cancer Foundation, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Paralympic Sports Association, Humane Society of America, American Kidney Fund, The Able Gamers Charity, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and The Longest Day.

“I continue to be blown away by the progress of the Creator Clash 2 fighters,” Creator Clash co-creator iDubbbz said in a statement. “The level of training is no joke and every week the fighters get stronger and better. I can’t wait to see how things play out in the ring; the fans will be in for some amazing action.”

Tickets for Creator Clash 2 are on sale here. The event will also be livestreamed on Moment, with pay-per-view passes costing $24.99 if bought pre-event and $34.99 if bought on the day of the event.
