Party Shirt, a duo known for ‘Fact or Cap’ videos on TikTok, signs with WME (Exclusive)

Party Shirt has new representation, no cap.

The DJ duo, which consists of former USC classmates Xavier di Petta and Nick Iavarone, has signed with talent agency WME. Through the deal, Party Shirt will continue to expand its profile both on TikTok and in the music industry.

Like so many vertical video stars, di Petta and Iavarone shifted their focus to short-form content when the pandemic hit. Since then, Party Shirt has collected more than 20 million followers and generated nearly 750 million likes on TikTok. In the twosome’s most popular bit, di Petta and Iavarone try out viral hacks to see if they really work. Their ‘Fact or Cap’ verdicts have enjoyed 740,000 likes to date.

Party Shirt’s remixes often serve as the soundtrack for their TikToks. Thanks to their viral success, di Petta and Iavarone have been able to advance their DJ careers. Their song ‘Dancing Tonight‘ reached the top of TikTok’s pop charts in May 2020. In an email to Tubefilter, WME noted that Party Shirt will “soon” announce “more dates, festival bookings and headlining shows.” In a statement, Party Shirt added, “we’re so excited to be on this journey with such an incredible team and we can’t wait to share with the world what we have in store.”

WME works with top stars on platforms like TikTok and YouTube. Its other recent signees have included the “cooking grandma” Lynja and Matt Granite, aka The Deal Guy.

In addition to WME, Party Shirt continues to be repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners. The duo was previously with UTA for representation.
