After re-establishing itself in the #1 spot, India’s largest record label increased its viewership by 20% week-over-week. That allowed it to consolidate its position at the top of our worldwide ranking.
Chart Toppers
I’m talking about T-Series, of course. The most popular YouTube channel in India has been switching between first and second place over the past few weeks, but as the calendar turns to mid-November, the dominant music hub is back in the driver’s seat. T-Series got 699.3 million weekly views in our latest count, which allowed it to augment its YouTube-leading lifetime viewership. Next week, it will get its 207-billionth view.
Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes has spent some time ahead of T-Series in recent weeks, but in our latest chart, the family-friendly American hub is the global runner-up. With 636.7 million weekly views, Cocomelon was the only other channel to get more than 500 million views this week. That shows us just how much these two channels have distanced themselves from the rest of the pack.
The other channel that I declared as part of this chart’s “Big Three” is a ways behind the other two members of that triumvirate, but SET India is still going strong. By earning 484.6 million weekly views, the Sony-owned destination reached #3 in the Global Top 50. There’s not a lot of weeks left in 2022, but SET India still has a chance to reach 150 million subscribers before the year’s end.
The breakout channel of this fall earned the #4 spot in the Global Top 50 for the second straight week. Duetify, which snagged 420.1 million weekly views, was able to increase its traffic by 16% week-over-week, thus keeping pace with the rest of the field. How new is this YouTube Shorts standout? It only got its billionth lifetime view this week.
LeoNata Family rounds out this week’s global top five. The channel known for its family-friendly vertical videos picked up 369.3 million weekly views.
Top Gainers
If you’re in the mood for some Planet Earth but you got kicked off your ex’s Netflix account, you can always tune into The Global Animals World on YouTube. The Germany-based channel is showing the splendor of the animal kingdom, one short at a time.
The most-watched YouTube Shorts clips on The Global Animals World include some videos that wouldn’t be out of place in your average nature documentary. In the channel’s all-time most-watched upload, which has been seen more than 121 million times, a lion climbs a tree to menace a monkey.

But this is YouTube, so The Global Animals World also offers cat content that is a bit more charming. You may associate online video hijinks with domestic felines, but Global Animals World shows that big cats can be just as playful as their smaller counterparts.
By catering to the animal-loving side of YouTube, this German channel is roaring up the charts. It got 195 million views during the week that was, which earned it a 41% week-over-week traffic bump. The Global Animals World is in 43rd place in our Global Top 50, and it has plenty of room for improvement. Before this channel is done, it might be able to turn the king of the jungle into the king of the internet.
