A self-described “singer/songwriter/actor/actress/athlete/activist/scientist on the motherf***ing side” has returned to MTV‘s social channels. The Paramount-owned network has launched season two of MTV Following: Bretman Rock, which chronicles the titular creator’s life as he negotiates conflicts with his family and friends
Following first premiered in 2021. Set in Rock’s native Hawaii, the digital show introduces viewers to the important people in the creator’s life, including his mother, his sister Princess Mae, and his cousin/personal assistant Kieffer. Season two will pay close attention to the dynamic between Rock and Mae, who will head to therapy in hopes of improving their relationship.
In total, season two of Following will contain six episodes, with a new one dropping each Monday at 4 PM ET. The show’s primary home will be the MTV YouTube channel, though it will be promoted across the network’s social channels.

Rock’s massive social following includes 18.3 million followers on Instagram and 8.7 million subscribers on YouTube. His success has led to numerous brand deals with partners ranging from Morphe to Ellen Digital Ventures. MTV chose to feature him in a digital series after previously making a deal with another outspoken creator. It profiled OnlyFans star Tana Mongeau in a series called No Filter, which earned a two-season run of its own. Following was initially picked up as a continuation of No Filter before assuming its current title.
The new season of Following arrives at a big moment for rock. At Cannes Lions, the creator revealed that he will be the new creator director for Logitech.
