Reese Witherspoon’s recently-acquired Hello Sunshine is venturing into the metaverse alongside NFT collective World of Women.
World Of Women, which celebrates inclusivity and equality in a male-dominated field, will work with Hello Sunshine to develop its NFTs into movies and scripted and unscripted TV shows, Variety reports. It’s a fitting partnership given that Hello Sunshine’s core ethos lies in centering women in storytelling.
In addition to content development, Hello Sunshine and World Of Women will work together on live events to educate women about the burgeoning NFT space.

SubscribeWorld of Women, launched in July 2021, comprises 10,000 NFTs – each of which can now fetch six figures, per Variety – all of which were created by women. Its second collection will arrive this year. The collection is repped by talent manager and tech investor Guy Oseary, who also manages Madonna, U2, and the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
“While the crypto and NFT space is largely dominated by men, there are inspiring leaders like World of Women creating incredible communities for women during this massive shift for media and technology,” stated Witherspoon, who has been open about her interest in the metaverse on social media.
