Disney’s streaming division has created a new role, EVP of business operations, to be filled by Alisa Bowen.

Bowen, who has been at Disney since 2017, will continue to report to Disney Streaming president Michael Paull, and will oversee content operations and business development for Disney’s direct-to-consumer portfolio, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Before joining Disney, Bowen spent four years as News Corp Australia’s chief technical officer.

Disney has reorganized execs on its streaming team in recent months, having named Paull president of Disney Streaming (which includes Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+) in January. At that time, the company also named former Disney+ EVP of marketing and operations John Earley president of Hulu. Earley succeeded Kelly Campbell, who departed in October to become president of Peacock.

“Alisa has played a pivotal role in the successful launch and scaling of Disney+ and our global operations,” Paull wrote in a memo to staffers obtained by the Reporter. “Her relentless focus on ensuring we have the right processes in place has been crucial to our success these last few year.”
