Floyd Mayweather Floats Fight Against Another YouTuber — Dubai-Based ‘Money Kicks’

Fresh off his bout with YouTube megastar Logan Paul, boxing icon Floyd Mayweather has announced that his next exhibition fight will be hosted in Dubai on a helipad atop the Burj Al Arab hotel.

While Mayweather, 44, has yet to confirm an opponent for the event, slated for Feb. 20, The Daily Mail notes that he has floated fighting another YouTuber – Dubai-based Money Kicks. Money Kicks, whose real name is Rashed Belhasa, is a 19-year-old amateur boxer with 3.2 million YouTube subscribers and 2 million Instagram followers.

Belhasa is the son of Emirati business tycoon Saif Ahmen Belhasa, with content focused on showing off his luxury lifestyle, including his extensive sneaker collection and videos that chronicle the world’s most expensive items in various product categories.

“I spoke with [my advisors] about Money Kicks. We don’t really know,” Mayweather said at a press event, per The Daily Mail. “He is from [Dubai]. It is going to be great…It will be a very special crowd. Not too many people. So, if you get the chance to come here, you must know that you are very special.”

Mayweather faced off against Logan Paul in June at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. That said, Paul shared last week that he has yet to be compensated for his participation in the fight six months later, calling Mayweather a “dirty little rat”.

Later today on Instagram, Paul is announcing another event dubbed The Final Chapter with former boxing opponent and fellow YouTuber Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji, which is likely to be a third bout in the ring. Their first fight in Aug. 2018 ended in a draw, while Olatunji won their second match-up in Nov. 2019.
