Studio71 To Drop First NFTs Alongside YouTube Animation Channel EnchantedMob

Studio71 is getting into NFTs.

Today, the company will drop its first NFT collection in partnership with YouTube animation channel EnchantedMob, which is behind the hit indie PC game Poppy Playtime. The horror puzzle title launched in October and has garnered hundreds of thousands of players, Studio71 says, as well as ‘let’s play’ streams by YouTube luminaries like PewDiePie and Markiplier.

While EnchantedMob — founded by brothers Seth and Zach Belanger — will provide the artwork for the NFT collection, digital talent management company We Are Verified and eco-conscious NFT platform Sweet will aid in marketing and distribution for the project, respectively.

A total of six different NFT designs (each touting an exclusive unlockable video) will be available to purchase on Sweet. In keeping with the format of Poppy Playtime, an underlying puzzle can be solved by completing the NFT set, and fans who collect all six NFTs will automatically receive a master NFT of the solved puzzle.

“Given Studio71’s commitment to growing reach and revenue for our partnered talent, we’re thrilled to be entering into the NFT space with our longtime partners at EnchantedMob,” Joe Hodorowicz, Studio71’s SVP of talent partnerships, said in a statement.

Studio71 has repped EnchantedMob’s four YouTube channels — which count 6.4 million subscribers collectively — for the past six years. The company says it has NFT campaigns in the works with other clients that are set to drop next year.
