This week, a popular Indian channel is giving thanks for its continued success on YouTube.

Said channel was one of 17 hubs from its home nation to find its way into our Global Top 50 chart. Not to be outdone, American channels made 17 appearances in the chart as well.
T-Series is one week away from closing out an entire month at #1. The YouTube home of India’s top record label held onto the top spot in our Global Top 50 after pulling in 767 million weekly views. The most-followed channel on YouTube now has 199 million subscribers, which means it could cross the 200 million subscriber barrier next week.
As she roars past the 250 million subscriber mark, YouTube’s most-watched individual family creator is trending upward in our Global Top 50. Like Nastya hit second place in the world thanks to 618.1 million weekly views. The U.S.-based star has also breezed past 80 million subscribers. All told, not a bad week!
For the second week in a row, the third-place finisher in our worldwide ranking is SET India. The Sony-owned channel, which delivers TV-adjacent content to South Asian viewers, finished with 616.2 million weekly views in our latest count. Overall, three Sony-owned channels found their way into this week’s Global Top 50.
The other channel to cross the 500 million view threshold this week is Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes. The indefatigable kids’ channel, which is a hit on both YouTube and Netflix, added to its impressive numbers by bringing in 571.6 million weekly views. Though that was 22% less traffic than what Cocomelon registered during the prior week, it was still enough for the American channel to earn the #4 spot in our global chart.
Sony SAB rounds out this week’s global top five. Similarly to SET India, it is a Sony-owned channel that distributes TV content for a digital audience. Over seven days, it picked up 400 million weekly views.
The 11th-most-watched channel in the world this week belongs to an Indian creator named Ajay Sharma. Sharma has a lot in common with other popular Indian YouTube creators like Dushyant Kukreja and Vijay Kumar: He has a big presence on YouTube Shorts, a great head of hair, and an indisputable international appeal.
Sharma’s short-form clips cover a lot of ground, but many of his most-viewed offerings depict interactions between him and his wife. In the most-watched clip on his channel, his wife pours two glasses of milk but selflessly thins hers with water after the milk runs out. Sharma sneakily notices this sacrifice and switches the glasses while his wife isn’t looking. The result is a heartwarming piece of content that has been seen more than 152 million times since it was first uploaded to YouTube back on May 10.
Though the title of the video is in Hindi, its viewers don’t need to learn any languages in order to understand Sharma’s message and his expression of love. This universality helped Sharma rise to the 11th position in our Global Top 50.
Over seven days, the Indian creator’s channel added 193.1 million weekly views, which is 26% more than its total from the previous week. Sharma’s big week did not end with his high chart position; he also surpassed four billion lifetime views and five million total subscribers. I bet he can now afford plenty of milk for both himself and his wife.

- Pakistan: 3 channels in the Top 50.
- Japan and South Korea: 2 channels in the Top 50.
- Argentina, Belarus, Bosnia, Canada, Indonesia, Romania, and United Arab Emirates: 1 channel each in the Top 50.
