FaZe Clan, the soon-to-go-public gaming org, has inked a multi-faceted sponsorship pact with fantasy sports contest and sports betting company DraftKings.
The partnership will see DraftKings become the official sports betting partner for FaZe, and comprise various activations with FaZe talent. This means custom content, live streams, and tournament events starring FaZe Adapt, FaZe Temperrr (pictured above), FaZe Nate Hill, FaZe Swagg, and the Nuke Squad. An original series and podcast are also in the works, as are contests and merch.
FaZe will also work with DraftKings to develop educational content around responsible gaming — touting its self-imposed player limits, identify verification, and geolocation tools. DraftKings will also become the official sponsor of FaZe’s Counter-Strike esports team, with branding on players’ jerseys.

In addition to providing betting infrastructure for traditional sports, DraftKings offers daily fantasy contents for Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, League of Legends, Rocket League, and Valorant. It also launched a DraftKings Marketplace for NFTs in August.
“The strong crossover between DraftKings customers and FaZe’s tens of millions of viewers and followers made this a natural alliance,” DraftKings co-founder and North American president Matt Kalish said in a statement. “We hope to create excitement, competition, and community around sports and video games for adult audiences everywhere we operate.”
