The channel’s owner just finalized a $3 billion sale, and the channel itself received about 150 million more weekly views than any other U.S.-based channel. Now that’s what I call a daily double!
Chart Toppers
This week’s big winner is Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes.
For the second straight week, the California-based animation hub snagged the #1 spot in our ranking of the 50 most-viewed U.S.-based channels of the week. Over seven days, the channel’s collection of family-friendly jingles and tunes pulled in 515.5 million weekly views. That unparalleled viewership helps explain how Moonbug, the company that owns Cocomelon, was able to secure a $3 billion acquisition price earlier this week.
Thanks to a week-over-week viewership increase of 86%, the family vlog Like Nastya reached the #2 spot in our U.S. Top 50. The home base of the titular seven-year-old star received 377.7 million weekly views over seven days, which allowed it to move up three spots in our American ranking.
LankyBox, which has consistently ranked at or near the top of this chart since it began posting content on YouTube Shorts, had another strong showing this week. Its seven-day viewership topped out at 342.3 million weekly views, which is third-most among all U.S.-based channels. The gaming and entertainment reached its high position thanks to its potent combination of short-form and long-form content.
Aside from Like Nastya, the other family vlog in this week’s U.S. top five is Kids Diana Show. The Florida-based hub had another strong week, pulling in 256.8 million weekly views. Despite all that traffic, Kids Diana fell two spots in our U.S. chart, ending up at #4.
Khaby Reacting rounds out this week’s U.S. top five. The YouTube Shorts channel received 227.9 million weekly views over our latest measurement period.
Top Gainers
One of the channels that is gaining popularity on YouTube Shorts is a place where pregnant women can express themselves. Pregnancy Planet has not even been active on YouTube for a full term, but it has already emerged as one of the platform’s most notable destinations.
The videos that you can find on Pregnancy Planet cover all stages of the titular topic. As the channel’s description notes, the range of its content includes “bump, baby, and beyond.” In the channel’s most popular video, which has been viewed more than 42 million times, a woman counts down the days in the fortnight leading up to her due date. Spoiler alert: She doesn’t make it all the way down to zero before she gives birth.

Content featuring moms and their babies has emerged as a top category on YouTube Shorts — you can find several channels devoted to that niche within this week’s U.S. Top 50. Among that group, Pregnancy Planet stands out.
Over seven days, it picked up 66.1 million weekly views, which is about one-third of all the viewership it has received since launching on YouTube back in February. That traffic put it into 32nd place in our U.S. top 50, right between chart regulars Binge Society and Aphmau. Guess it’s time to come to term(s) with this channel’s success.
