Hasan Piker Unveils Union-Made Merch Brand ‘Ideologie’

Hasan Piker, the Twitch streamer (1.6 million followers) who rose to fame as a journalist for The Young Turks — and recently unveiled a podcast with YouTube vet Ethan Klein — has launched his first merch venture to unparalleled success, say his partners in the venture.

The brand, Ideologie, exclusively features garments that are produced in America and union-made, in keeping with Piker’s progressive principles. At launch, four T-Shirts are available — ranging in price from $35 to $40. All shirts are currently available for presale and will ship in mid-December. Sales from two shirts within the debut collection, both touting an image of protesters advocating for labor unionization in black and white color schemes, will donate 100% of profits to national strike funds.

Piker is creating the line in collaboration with Warren James, whose CEO Kevin Ramsey tells Tubefilter that sales for Ideologie “could very well be the highest single-day sales figures in creator-brand history.” He noted that the two shirts profiting national strikes funds raised $126,600 in first-day sales alone.

Other Ideologie apparel items are forthcoming, including a hoodie, Piker has said.

Warren James develops custom merch, apparel, and ecommerce for top creators and digital properties including pet influencer Tucker Budzyn, gamers Unspeakable and Dr DisRespect, fashion and lifestyle personality Marko Terzo, footballer-turned-vlogger DeeStroying, and others.
