Top Gainers
YouTube’s how-to category has long been a treasure trove of at-home solutions. If you want to save a trip to the repairperson, there’s nowhere better to look.
Now, that magnificent genre is making its mark on YouTube Shorts, too. MONEY TALKS WIRELESS is one of the 50 most-viewed U.S.-based YouTube channels this week, and its short-form library includes plenty of hacks to help you keep your devices in ship shape.
The star of MONEY TALKS WIRELESS is a phone repair professional who shares clips from his practice. His most-viewed video, which has more than 18 million views, features the classic “scoop pocket lint out of a phone’s charging port” trick. Not only can this help you remedy any charging problems, but it’s also extremely satisfying, especially when you come away with a big clump of gunk like in this video.
Based on MONEY TALKS WIRELESS’ seven-day success, it seems there are plenty of viewers who appreciate advice like this. During the last week of October, the channel 65.3 million weekly views, which made it the 37th-most viewed channel based in the U.S. That number represents a 53% week-over-week traffic jump for MONEY TALKS WIRELESS, and it is a deserved boost for a channel that saved a lot of people from unpleasant errands.
