Gayming Live, a convention celebrating all things queer geek culture, is coming to New York City in July 2022. The event was first held in London in 2019, but this marks its first foray in the states.
Gayming Live is the creation of Gayming Magazine, which also announced that its second annual Gayming Awards will air live on Twitch in April. Gayming Live will be hosted at the Brooklyn Expo Center on July 30 and 31.
The event will feature panels, performances, and meet-and-greats with drag queens like Jiggly Caliente, Juice Boxx, and Rock M. Sakura (from RuPaul’s Drag Race), as well as Twitch’s all-drag gaming troupe the Stream Queens, and various IRL gaming organizations, including NYC Gaymers and Geeks Out.

The convention will also feature vendors, comic and anime zones, cosplay parades, indie game demos, and more. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1, starting at $50.
“The intersection of queer geek culture and drag is an amazing thing to behold and I know that this stellar line up of headliners and co-stars will be bringing the party to Gayming Live in such a unique way,” Gayming Magazine founder Robin Gray said in a statement.
