Pokimane Is Launching Her Own Talent Management Firm

Pokimane has cofounded her own talent management and brand consulting firm, RTS, with the goal of “fixing what is broken in both talent management and brand partnerships in the gaming and esports landscape.”

A top Twitch streamer known for playing Fortnite, Valorant, and League of Legends, Pokimane will serve as the firm’s chief creative officer. Filling out the rest of the executive team are former Twitch and Endeavor exec Stuart Saw as CEO, former Blizzard and Endeavor exec Kim Phan as COO, VP of talent management Sue Lee (formerly at Twitch), and VP of sales and partnerships Jason Scorrano (formerly with PAX and Turner Sports).

RTS also boasts an advisory board of experienced digital and esports executives, including Twitch cofounder and former COO Kevin Lin, Brian Corrigan (head of Americas for PUBG Corporation), and Karen Brodkin (EVP of content strategy and partnerships at Endeavor).

“I keep seeing amazing creators that are doing wonders with their content and streams, but they don’t have the support to grow their brand and business operations,” Pokimane (IRL name Imane Anys) said in a statement. “They’re spinning their wheels on basic stuff and taking a lot of frustrating partnership deals that don’t work out for either party involved.”

Anys added, “I’ve gone through the wringer with these experiences, and we’re building RTS to be able to provide the support, alleviate the workload, and solve this for creators, developers, and brands. My goal is to take my years of experience and make it accessible to newer creators so they don’t need to go through the process I have endured.”

RTS says it will work to support represented creators’ specific business needs, and will focus on helping them “create long-term staying power.” It also plans to network with video game brands and publishers to “make a substantive and sustainable impact across the gaming and esports industry.”

RTS has already partnered with Fortnite publisher Epic Games, the Fortnite World Cup, Facebook, whiskey brand Ballantine’s, and college sports marketer Learfield. It also co-owns and co-manages the Evolution Championship Series, an annual esports event, with Sony.

For now, Anys is the only person listed in RTS’s public creator roster. She is represented by UTA.
