CAA Signs Aussie ‘Fortnite’ YouTuber And Esports Entrepreneur Lachlan Power

CAA has signed gaming megastar Lachlan Power, and will also rep the 25-year-old’s multi-faceted esports company, PWR.

Power, a top Fortniter who was the first Australian gaming creator to reach 10 million YouTube subscribers (where he now streams exclusively), will work with CAA on opportunities across TV, film, touring, digital distribution, brand partnerships, endorsements, personal appearances, and publishing.

Power hails from Brisbane and launched his YouTube channel in 2013, having amassed 22 million followers across all social channels.

The success of his streams led to the establishment of his apparel label PWR Supply in 2018. And in 2020, Power established PWR, an esports org that helps fellow Fortnite creators develop their competitive gaming skills as well as content growth.

Power is also pursuing acting, and is set to appear in Netflix’s animated comedy Back To The Outback later this year alongside fellow Aussie celebrities like Eric Bana, Jacki Weaver, and Keith Urban.

“It’s a privilege to be signed up to such a reputable agency, especially one with a huge global footprint and extensive expertise in the video games industry,” Power said in a statement. “Creatively, I’m always looking for new ways to challenge myself so this next step with CAA will allow me to connect with exciting global brands. At the same time, it provides an opportunity to grow the PWR brand’s reach through CAA as well.”
