Studio71 Signs 16 YouTube Channels From Viral Lithuanian Media Firm ‘Bored Panda Group’

Studio71 has linked up with Lithuanian entertainment company Bored Panda Group to sign 16 of its YouTube channels.

Bored Panda’s flagship YouTube hub, Crafty Panda — which counts 19 million subscribers on the strength of its bizarre how-to videos, such as My Girlfriend Is a College Queen/How to Become Popular at School — is now joining the Studio71 roster, as are its Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Arabic, and Indonesian-language iterations. Other signings include the similarly-themed Kaboom (1.8 million subscribers), female-focused Girly Panda (731,000 subscribers), and quirky news hub Bored Panda.

The rest of the signings include: Astuces du Panda, Crafty Panda Go, Crafty Panda School, Dear Diary, Hacks von Panda, Kaboom Zoom, Kaboom! Indonesian, Kaboom! Spanish, Kreatif Panda, Trucos Panda, Truques do Panda, and باندا الإبداعات.

Studio71 will manage direct (manual) advertising for Bored Panda Group across both YouTube and connected TVs, working with the media company to establish new revenue streams on platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire, and Vizio.

The multi-channel network already reps three channels from the Bored Panda Group, which it signed last year: Little Panda, Crafty Panda Bubbly, and Hungry Panda.

“Bored Panda Group is excited to have Studio71 as an exclusive partner for the video branch of the business,” Bored Panda founder and CEO Tomas Banišauskas said in a statement. “We believe that this partnership will help us open additional revenue streams and business possibilities.”
