Bretman Rock To Test His Jungle Survival Skills In New YouTube Original Docuseries

YouTube Originals may be moving away from creator-centric programming, but the video giant appears to have made an exception for the one and only Bretman Rock.

Rock, 22, will headline a new, four-part docuseries dubbed 30 Days With: Bretman Rock, which will see the vlogger and beauty entrepreneur venturing into the Hawaiian jungle for a week in attempts to survive on his own. (Rock was born in the Philippines and raised in Hawaii, where he currently resides). Episode one of the four-part venture will bow on June 30 on his YouTube channel, which is home to 8.5 million subscribers).

30 Days With is an ongoing YouTube Originals franchise that has seen other noteworthy figures give viewers monthlong glimpses into pivotal moments in their personal and professional lives. Past participants have included boy band Why Don’t We

and undefeated boxing champ Ryan Garcia.

The expedition will be undertaken in tribute to Rock’s late father, who passed away in 2019. The series will follow Rock as he prepares mentally and physically alongside friends and family, and trains with a noted survival skills specialist.

In addition to launching product collabs with the likes of beauty upstart ColourPop and card game What Do You Meme?, Rock recently starred in another reality series venture for MTV called Following: Bretman Rock, which premiered in February.
