Tech Guru ‘Mrwhosetheboss’ Signs With Night Media (Exclusive)

Tech expert Arun Maini is the latest creator to sign with Dallas-based talent management company Night Media.

Maini, whose YouTube channel Mrwhosetheboss has 7.2 million subscribers and nets around 40 million views a month, is known for being a smartphone specialist. Each week he drops uploads where he reviews fresh gear, gives advice about new features or potential dangers, and sometimes even unboxes $200,000 caviar-themed, gold-plated phones (below).

Maini tells Tubefilter he aims to make videos with mass appeal so even folks “like my mom will enjoy them.”

“I aspire to make tech videos that apply to more than techies, they are for anyone to watch so they can start to enjoy the industry,” he says. “I want to make every video better than the last.”

At Night Media, Maini will be managed by Andrew Pelosi out of Night’s Los Angeles office.

Pelosi says the company has “many exciting developments in the works with Arun that the tech community and everyday people alike are sure to enjoy.”

“People are choosing tech creators like Arun over traditional media publications as their trusted source for reviews,” Reed Duchscher, Night Media’s cofounder and CEO, adds. “This has been a category I’ve long enjoyed consuming and I’m glad that we are entering the space.”

Night Media represents a number of top YouTubers, including MrBeast (62 million subscribers), ZHC (21 million), Azzyland (14 million) and Preston (17 million).
