Underscore Talent Signs Vlogging Vet Roman Atwood Amid His Return To YouTube

Veteran YouTuber Roman Atwood has joined nascent talent management firm Underscore Talent, formed in January by a trio of former Studio71 executives: Michael Green, Reza Izad, and Dan Weinstein.

Atwood’s family, with whom he frequently vlogs, will also be repped by the firm, as it looks to expand their reach into new formats. Underscore will also work on strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and IP development.

The signing arrives as Atwood has recently returned to creating content on his channel — which is home to 15.6 million subscribers and over 5.3 billion lifetime views — after a year-long hiatus. In January, Atwood shared that he’d left YouTube as a result of harassment from several dangerous stalkers.

Atwood has been referring to his latest phase of creation as ‘Chapter 3’ of his YouTube career, per Underscore, with videos comprising comedy bits and updates on his home life.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Underscore as I look to get back to making some fun content for everybody out there,” Atwood said in a statement. “It’s great to be creating again not just for myself, but my family as well. We’re looking forward to exploring more opportunities and really evolving what I’ve been doing for years now into new forms of entertainment. I can’t wait to re-engaging with my incredible fans, more so now than ever, to make people smile more.”

Underscore’s roster also includes Shiloh & Bros, The LaBrant Family, Alex Wassabi, Alex Costa, Kayla Nicole, De’arra & Ken, Vlad & Niki, and more.
