Another week, another impressive set of viewership figures for the Indian channel that continues to dominate our global top 50. In our latest ranking of the most-viewed YouTube channels of the week, the channel in question is still far ahead of the field, though it has yet to eclipse the seven-day viewership record its closest competitor set last year.
T-Series is as consistent as it is popular. The Indian record label, which does great business on YouTube by uploading film clips and music videos, tallied 910.9 million weekly views during the second week of February. The channel has crossed the 900 million view threshold during both of this month’s top 50 measurement periods.
The only channel to ever achieve one billion YouTube views during a single week, however, is the runner-up in our latest top 50 chart. While Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes has fallen off its previous pace a bit, and is no longer reaching the ten-digit heights it achieved last year, it is still extremely popular among YouTube’s younger viewers. Its latest tally was 752.2 million weekly views, which was enough to give it a comfortable lead over this week’s global #3, SET India. The digital home of Sony Entertainment Television’s South Asian branch held onto its previous chart position thanks to 607 million weekly views.
The only changes in this week’s global top five came in the fourth and fifth positions, whose holders flip-flopped from the places they occupied last week. Last weeks fifth-place finisher, Like Nastya, moved up to fourth thanks to a 24% week-over-week viewership jump. The family vlog’s seven-day viewership surged all the way up to 532.1 million weekly views. That was a slightly higher figure than the 502.6 million weekly views achieved by Sony SAB, which rounded out this week’s top five.
Over the past few months, DONA 도나 has authored a compelling rise up the ranks of our global top 50. The channel features videos entirely in Korean and is part of the “mukbang” genre, in which friendly hosts attract large audiences by eating all sorts of interesting and unusual foods.
The two Korean women who appear in the DONA videos have only been posting on their channel since 2018, but they have already claimed more than 10 billion lifetime views and show no signs of slowing down. Their latest seven-day totals included 327.4 million weekly views, which was enough to reach ninth place in our global top 50. It also represented a 20% increase over their previous seven-day viewership.
What’s fascinating about DONA is that the channel has achieved these highs without posting any new videos. Instead, it is the duo’s back catalog that is scoring major viewership. The leading ladies of DONA haven’t released new content since they tackled a number of jellied chocolate confections designed to look like other foods and household objects. If you’ve never seen someone eat a high-heeled shoe before, now’s your chance.

India: 17 channels in the Top 50.
United States: 15 channels in the Top 50.
Canada, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, and United Arab Emirates: 2 channels in the Top 50.
Argentina, Australia, France, Pakistan, The Philippines, Romania, Turkey, and the United Kingdom: 1 channel each in the Top 50.
