During a holiday weekend in the United States, many of the nation’s top channels missed our latest ranking of the top 50 most-viewed YouTube channels of the week. Meanwhile, Indian channels continued to dominate the chart, with a certain South Asian record label retaining its perch atop the pile.

India’s largest record label is still the most-viewed YouTube channel of the week across the world. T-Series, which uses YouTube as a hub for music videos, movie clips, and other assorted pieces of media content, earned 891.6 million weekly views in our latest check, which was a 6% increase over the total it turned in seven days prior. The gap between T-Series and #2 continues to increase; this week’s runner up, Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes, managed 710.7 million weekly views. That’s still a mighty impressive total for the American producer of kid-friendly animations, but it’s a long way off from T-Series.
For the second week in a row, the third position in our global chart went to Kids Diana Show. The Ukranian-American family vlog earned 618 million weekly views, and though that represented a week-over-week decline of 12%, it was enough to hold off SET India for the #3 spot. The South Asian arm of Sony Entertainment Television, which finished fifth in these charts a week ago, managed 574.4 million weekly views to earn fourth place.
Another Sony-owned channel based in India, Sony SAB, ended the week in fifth place on our global chart. The SAB YouTube channel is the digital home of a TV channel known for its comedies and soaps. During our chart’s latest seven-day measurement period, it received 455 million weekly views.
In our global charts, Argentina is usually represented by El Reino Infantil (literally “The Children’s Kingdom”), which delivers Spanish-language, kid-friendly animations to a massive audience of 38.7 million subscribers. This operation has gotten so big that many of its spin-off channels are now thriving in their own right. Take, for example, La Granja de Zenón (literally “The Farm of Zenón), which in recent weeks has given Argentina a two-channel presence in our global top 50.
This week has been a particularly fertile one on La Granja. The channel, led by its collection of human and animal characters, earned 105.7 million weekly views in our latest count, which allowed it to go from 72nd place in our global ranking all the way up to 36th. That view count represented a week-over-week traffic increase of 14%. Oh, and La Granja also passed 15 billion lifetime views this week, too.
There have been a few new videos on La Granja de Zenón this week, but a lot of the channel’s current success stems from (and stop me if you’ve heard this one before) animated nursery rhyme compilations. A recent 48-minute clip that begins with a rendition of “La Potranca Margerita” has needed less than a month to amass more than 5.5 million views.
Here’s a breakdown of the Top 50 Most Viewed channels this week in terms of their countries of origin:
India: 17 channels in the Top 50.
United States: 8 channels in the Top 50.
South Korea: 5 channels in the Top 50.
United Kingdom: 4 channels in the Top 50.
Brazil: 3 channels in the Top 50.
Argentina, Pakistan, and the Philippines: 2 channels in the Top 50.
Belarus, Canada, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Thailand, and Turkey: 1 channel each in the Top 50.
