Rooster Teeth has tapped a new exec to oversee its podcast network, The Roost.
WarnerMedia-owned Rooster Teeth has named A.J. Feliciano head of The Roost, a role that will see him spearheading platform and content partnerships for all podcasts within the video-centric network. Feliciano will report to Rooster Teeth’s SVP of sales, Alan Abdine, and work in close tandem with SVP of partnerships and strategy Luis Medina.
All told, The Roost counts more than 70 shows that clock more than 280 million monthly video views and 10 million monthly audio downloads. The Roost aids in brand development, turn-key sales services, production, marketing, ecommerce, events, and distribution. Its video podcasts are available on YouTube, native subscription service First, and Spotify — which recently rolled out video podcasting capabilities.

Prior to joining The Roost, Feliciano held a number of different roles with Rooster Teeth since Nov. 2017, when he joined the company as manager of business development. He subsequently served as senior manager of business development and then director of partnerships and strategy before ascending to his current role. Before that, he was employed at gaming and VR/AR startup Well Played Studios following an eight-year stint at NBCUniversal.
The Roost’s portfolio includes owned-and-operated podcasts like Good Morning from Hell, Face Jam, Off Topic, and the long-running Rooster Teeth Podcast. The company also partners with other creators on their shows, including Zane and Heath: Unfiltered, This Might Get Weird with Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart, and Philip Defranco’s A Conversation With.
