Rooster Teeth’s tenth annual RTX gathering, which was initially postponed until Labor Day weekend and ultimately cancelled — after succumbing to the same fate as countless events due to the coronavirus pandemic — is going virtual.

Rooster Teeth will host its inaugural RTX At Home gathering from Sept. 15 to 25. The company will take a break from streaming on Sept. 19 and 20, during which time recaps and rebroadcasts will air. The event will comprise panels, hangouts with Rooster Teeth personalities, exclusive series reveals, and other virtual events. Broadcasts will be distributed exclusively on and the Rooster Teeth app, with all programming available for free for members of Rooster Teeth’s subscription service, First. (A First subscription starts at $5 per month).

That said, other panels will be free for everyone to watch, including panels for two of Rooster Teeth’s biggest animated franchises: the RWBY Volume 8 panel and another for Red vs. Blue: Zero. Additionally, some events will require separate ticket purchases, with First members gaining early access to these sales. Ticketed events include virtual meet-and-greets, personalized video recordings, group happy hours, and more.

RTX at Home will also include virtual versions of the RTX Animation Festival and the RTX Podcast Festival — category-specific, breakout events that are typically held in conjunction with RTX.
