A3 Artists Taps Audible, Himalaya Vet Samantha Land As First In-House Podcast Producer

Talent agency A3 Artists Agency is growing its podcasting business with the hire of its first full-time, in-house producer: Samantha Land.

Land will be tasked with taking scripted and unscripted podcast concepts from A3 clients and guiding through them through the entire publishing process from soup to nuts, including ideation, concept development, production, distribution, and monetization.

Land began her career as a radio producer for Cumulus Media, and then went on to become a producer at Audible, where she helped develop original long-form content. Most recently, Land served as the production executive at podcast studio Himalaya Media, spearheading original productions and facilitating strategic partnerships in the U.S. and China. Notable shows that Land has worked on in the past include Audible’s Story Party

, Bandtastic, Hot Mic with Dan Savage, and Ximalaya FM‘s Dallas Mavericks podcast.

Land will be based in Los Angeles, where A3 operates one of two state-of-the-art podcast studios — with the second in New York.
