Awesomeness Unveils Quarantine-Themed Slate, With 4 Remotely-Produced Reality Series

Awesomeness, the ViacomCBS-owned production studio and digital media brand behind Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and Brent Rivera’s Dream Vacation on YouTube, has announced its latest quarantine-themed slate.

First, Awesomeness has greenlit two all-new shows that are being produced remotely. The Click (working title) will follow strangers from different walks of life in quarantine, as they seek to forge new connections with one another over the course of six episodes, while Date Drop is a speed-dating show featuring six YouTube influencers that will take place entirely via videoconference. Both series will premiere next month on the AwesomenessTV YouTube channel (8.1 million subscribers).

Awesomeness is also spinning off two limited YouTube series based on its hit franchise My Dream Quinceañera, which documents various quinceañera events — or birthday celebrations for 15-year-old girls that are widely celebrated in Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas.

In May, Awesomeness will debut My Dream Quinceañera At Home (working title), a three-part multi-platform special that will chronicle how two families are organizing their festivities in isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic, wherein the birthday girls will seek interactive fan input about their party dresses, hair, makeup, and even participate in virtual dance practice. Awesomeness is also readying The Sweet Life of Honey that will follow My Dream Quinceañera star Honey Robinson (pictured above, and embedded below).

In addition to this slate, Awesomeness is also readying 100 new episodes of its other originals, including The Daily Report, Model Material, Cheerleaders, Vs., and two other My Dream Quinceañera spin-offs: Growing Up Eileen and Life After Quince.
