It’s another weekly installment of the Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed YouTube Channels Worldwide. And, yes. You guessed it. T-Series still occupies that #1 spot.
T-Series is in first place for the seemingly infinitieth time. The most-subscribed YouTube channel on the planet (with now more than 124 million of them) and home to the T-Series Indian music record label and film production company was up 6% in its weekly views to take home nearly 780.7 million of them. In a distant second place (but with a monstrous weekly view count) is Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes. The children’s animation studio (and top-ranking US channel on the chart) dropped 3% in its weekly view count to bottom out at a still-massive 536.5 million views.
Like Nastya Vlog is up in the #3 spot. The Russian-based family vlog channel was up an incremental 4% to break the half-a-billion weekly view count threshold with just about 500.3 million views. In fourth place is SET India. Sony Entertainment Television’s YouTube channel for its Indian iteration amassed over 410.9 million views throughout the week.
And rounding out the Top 5 is Kids Diana Show. The US-based family vlogging channel closed out the week with just about 395 million views.
The two pre-adolescent Australian brothers Calvin and Kaison are generally able two take home upwards of 50 million views a week on their shared YouTube channel by way of a steady flow of unboxing, toy testing, and superhero collaboration uploads. This week just happened to be better than most thanks to a legitimately very cool waffle iron and (presumably) their demographic’s return to normal video-viewing practices after the holiday and New Years break
“Avengers Waffle Challenge Captain America Shield CKN Toys” features the duo making exactly what the title implies, except it turns out way better than you would expect. The upload’s brought in over 1.5 million views to date – well above the nearly 800,000 or so views per video their channel’s averaged in the several weeks prior. Couple that with more kiddos spending less time on vacation and more time on screens and it helped push CKN Toys up 50% in its week-over-week view count, over 94.1 million views on the week, and the #41 spot on the worldwide chart.
