Streamys Announces Host-Less Ceremony In Lieu Of ‘Collaborators’ Brandon Rogers, Mark Rober, Emma Chamberlain, Hannah Stocking, And More

This year’s Streamy Awards, co-produced by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter, are set to ditch the traditional singular host format, in favor of a faction of creators who will head up this year’s ceremony as so-called “collaborators.”

Past Streamys have featured The Try Guys, Jon CozartKing Bach, Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley, and Hannah Hart as masters of ceremony. Instead, this year’s show will feature a number of creator-led segments that the Streamys says serve to emphasize the diversity of the space, including Emma Chamberlain, Mr. Kate, Rosanna Pansino, Mark Rober, Brandon Rogers, Patrick Starrr, and Hannah Stocking. All told, these collaborators count more than 100 million followers across multiple verticals including beauty, comedy, food, and education.

“Collaboration is a hallmark of YouTube culture — so this year we’re working with multiple creators to further showcase the diverse and robust range of creative talent within the digital community worldwide,” stated Streamys co-founder Drew Baldwin, who is also the co-founder of Tubefilter. “As the Streamys continues to evolve, our mission remains the same: to honor the best in online video and to celebrate the accomplishments of our community.”

Other presenters slated for this year’s broadcast include Kalen Allen, Jack Douglass, Joey Graceffa, iJustine, Gus Johnson, Collins Key, Larray, Elle Mills, Nikita Dragun, Brent Rivera, Sierra Schultzzie, and Jay Shetty.

At the same time that it announced the host revamp, the Streamys opened up fan voting — via Twitter — for its ‘Creator Of The Year’ and ‘Show Of The Year’ categories. The ninth annual Streamys will broadcast live from The Beverly Hilton hotel on Dec. 13 at 8 pm ET, exclusively on YouTube. After the stream, the show will also be available via VOD on the Streamys YouTube channel.
