Gleam Futures, the U.K.-based digital talent management firm, has substantially added to its roster with eight new clients. Gleam will be working with the new creators to build sustainable careers on- and offline, according to the company, including brand deals, podcasts, long-form video, book publishing, licensing, and other entrepreneurial ventures.
The most-followed addition is social issues journalist Gemma Styles (pictured above), with 4.9 million Instagram fans. Also joining the Gleam family are motherhood vlogger Emily Norris (502,000 YouTube subscribers), fashion creator Emma Hill (223,000 subscribers), travel vlogging duo Jesse Burges and Will Warr of TopJaw (100,000), Sarah Ellis and Philippa Bloom’s fashion channel We Are Twinset (19,000), and travel channel Hand Luggage Only (7,000). Gleam is also mining the TikTok well with comedy creator IconicCakes, who counts 130,000 followers on the micro-video platform.
Gleam notes that the latest signings span various categories — including fashion, family, beauty, food, and travel. Gleam already represents a fleet of top creators in the U.K. who have been in the YouTube game for some time, including Zoe Sugg, Jim Chapman, the Pixiwoo sisters, and Tanya Burr. The company launched Gleam Solutions — an influencer marketing service that matches up brands and creators — in June.
“There are thousands of creators out there who have the potential to turn their passions into commercial and creative opportunities, but our focus has always been identifying and working with the top-quality talent amongst this,” Gleam CEO Dom Smales said in a statement. “All our latest signings fit this mold and we’re excited to be working with them to help build on their potential.”
