David Dobrik has again emerged as the most-nominated creator at this year’s Streamy Awards — a Dick Clark and Tubefilter-produced show that annually commemorates the year’s biggest achievements in digital media.
Daily vlogger Dobrik racked up a whopping 11 nominations this year, while YouTube vet Joey Graceffa came in second with five nods — for the fourth season of his YouTube Premium series Escape The Night. The third most-nominated creator this year is Brandon Rogers for his YouTube series Blame The Hero. Notably, Dobrik and Graceffa led nominations at last year’s Streamys, too. In addition to the slew of nominations recognizing digital-native creators, musicians Lizzo and Lil Nas X — the latter of whom rose to fame on TikTok — were nominated for their first-ever Streamys this year.
Other nominees this year include Emma Chamberlain, MrBeast, and The Try Guys (each of whom received three nominations), as well as Epic Rap Battles Of History, The Game Theorists, Good Mythical Morning, Jay Shetty, Lindsey Stirling, Matt Steffanina, Ninja, Patrick Starrr, The Philip DeFranco Show, Safiya Nygaard, Simply Nailogical, and Tana Mongeau — all of whom received two nods apiece.

For the first time, the Streamys will take a global look at the online video landscape with three new international awards. Each award is dedicated to a different region across the globe: Asia Pacific; Europe, Middle East, and Africa; and Latin America. Nominees hail from locales as diverse as Palestine (Fozi Mozi) and Nigeria (MarkAngelComedy), and the most-nominated country this year is Brazil, which is up for two awards via creators Camila Loures and Enaldinho.
Furthermore, a new ‘Technology’ award will recognize tech how-to videos and breakdowns, with nominees iJustine, Marques Brownlee, Sara Dietschy, TechKaboom, and Unbox Therapy.
The ninth annual Streamys will broadcast live on YouTube globally from The Beverly Hilton on Dec. 13. Winners are determined by an independent judging body, though fans are able to vote for their favorite nominees in two ‘Audience Choice’ categories: ‘Creator Of The Year’ and ‘Show Of The Year’. That said, the winners of the second annual Streamys Brand Awards — recognizing excellence in advertising — were already announced last month at the NewFronts West.
“Creators are the heart and soul of YouTube, so we’re excited to celebrate and honor their creativity, diversity, and hard work,” Jamie Byrne, YouTube’s director of creator partnerships, said in a statement. “Together with the Streamys, we’ve expanded our award categories to even more regions around the world to bring fans some of the biggest and most unforgettable moments from the past year, all from the creators they love.”
