Select Management Group, one of the most illustrious talent management firms in the digital space, has added to its roster with figures from the traditional entertainment and sports businesses. At the same time, the company has hired two new managers to round out its staff.
In terms of digital-native talent, Select has signed actress and producer Andrea Russett — who headlines a flourishing YouTube channel with 3 million subscribers and has also appeared in the feature Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates and the Snapchat horror flick Sickhouse. Russett also formerly hosted a talk show on Fullscreen’s now-shuttered SVOD service titled Apologies In Advance. Additionally, military family vloggers Mel and Shane Datugan (523,000 subscribers) have also joined the Select portfolio.
In sports, Select has signed pro skateboarder and surfer Sky Brown — who is in the qualifying process to compete for Great Britain in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. If selected, the 11-year-old — who also won ABC’s Dancing With The Stars: Juniors — would be the youngest athlete to compete in the Olympics since 1936.

Finally, Select has signed actor, producer, and Latinx and LGBTQ+ rights activist Johnny Sibilly, who appears in FX’s Pose and season two of YouTube Premium’s Liza On Demand.
In order to help shepherd the new fleet, Select Management — which merged with fellow talent management firm Flip Management last August — has hired Mike Jezusko and Fred Johnson as talent managers. Jezusko, formerly of LINK Entertainment, reps comedian Ariana Basseri and the actor Jerry Madison Jr., while Johnson previously managed a slew of family, comedy, and lifestyle clients at Studio71.
