The Dodo’s latest IGTV series, annouced last week at VidCon, will see top influencers introducing audiences to their furry friends.
Titled You Know Me…Now Meet My Pet, the series will bow on July 17 on the dedicated IGTV channel for the Group Nine-owned digital publisher, which is focused on all things animals. Across six episodes, Instagram influencers like Loren Gray (16.8 million followers) and Lauren ‘LaurDIY’ Riihimaki (5 million followers) will showcase their animal companions.
Also participating are: lifestyle vlogger Mia Stammer (1.8 million followers), who will showcase her Corgi, Ken; comedian Drew Lynch (500,000 followers) and his service dog, Stella; musician Mahogany Lox (1.4 million ) and her puppy, Pockets; and ‘Vlog Squadder’ Kristen McAtee
(1.2 million) with her dog, Link.“We are thrilled to partner with Instagram to create a series specifically designed for IGTV’s teen audience,” Dodo president YuJung Kim said in a statement. “The Dodo is the most-engaged with media brand in the world and Instagram is the place where teen audiences live. We can’t wait to join forces to put a spotlight on the beloved pets of Instagram’s most exciting young influencers.”
