Snap Promotes VP Luke Wallis Amid Restructuring Of Ad Sales Group

As Snap revamps its ad sales group from a regional structure to one organized according to different business categories, the company has promoted former West Coast sales head Luke Wallis to VP of U.S. enterprise business solutions.

The structural transition, which kicked off last month, is occurring under the auspices of chief business officer Jeremi Gorman, Variety reports. The ad group now comprises three teams: large brand advertisers, emerging advertisers, and direct-response clients. And Snap’s U.S. enterprise sales team is now divided into nine categories: entertainment, tech, auto, retail, restaurants, travel, consumer packaged goods, telco, and health care.

In his new role, Kallis — who previously focused on Hollywood studio advertisers — will oversee all of Snap’s major clients in the U.S. Kallis joined Snap in June 2015, having previously spent over five years at Vevo as its SVP of national sales.
