Chart Toppers
T-Series is at the top spot of the chart for seemingly infinity weeks in a row, but the Indian music record label and film production company may actually now have some competition. The US-based Cocomelon nursery rhymes channel shot up 37% in its weekly view count to top out at second place with nearly 669.3 million views. That’s a staggering figure and it’s only 35 million or so behind T-Series, which topped up 2% at over 704.8 million views.
SET India is again in third place. Sony Entertainment Television’s YouTube home for its Indian iteration was down 2% to over 347.2 million views. Like Nastya Vlog is up next in fourth place. The Russian family-oriented vlog channel increased its weekly view count also by 37% to take home almost 314.4 million views during the week.
And rounding out the Top 5 is Badabun. The Mexican YouTube famous for its Exponiendo Infieles series (where host Lizbeth Rodríguez interviews couples to see if any partner is cheating on the other) closed out the week down 14% with over 280.4 million views.
Top Gainers
Anuel AA is one of our Top Gainers this week.
The 26-year-old Puerto Rican singer who’s been a pioneer in the Latin trap movement dropped the music video for “Secreto” on January 14. It quickly racked up a view count in the eight figures to push the Anuel AA channel up 167% in its wee-over-week view count and top out at more than 113 million views in the week and the #31 spot on the worldwide chart.
