U.K. YouTube Vet TomSka Has Written A Kids’ Book Called ‘Sam Kills Christmas’

Celebrated U.K. YouTube star and noted Christmas loather Thomas ‘TomSka’ Ridgewell is harnessing his comedic chops and disdain for the gaudy holiday season into a new children’s book titled Sam Kills Christmas.

Published by Little, Brown and hitting shelves on Nov. 8, the darkly funny picture book tells the story of a gender neutral protagonist named Sam who is on a quest to put an end to the over-the-top Christmas festivities. Ridgewell has long made known his revulsion to Christmas, as he was raised Jehovah’s Witness (which doesn’t recognize the holiday) — though he is no longer practicing. Priced at $13, Sam Kills Christmas was written by Ridgewell and frequent collaborator Eddie Bowley, with illustrations by Dorina Herdewijn.

In the book, which is currently available for preorder, Sam heads to the North Pole armed with rocket launchers and explosives in a bid to vanquish Santa, where they come face to face with evil elves and ice queens.
