Jeana Smith and Jesse Wellens, the founders of PrankvsPrank — one of YouTube’s foremost couple prank channels — may have announced their high-profile split in 2016, stating that the grind of daily vlogging had put a toxic strain on their relationship. But over the weekend, the digital vets reunited for the first time in years — all for an admirable cause.
Smith and Wellens participated in Saturday’s Ovarian Cancer Walk in Philadelphia — an annual event hosted by the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to raise awareness and funds — as well as to improve the lives for those who are fighting the disease. The cause hits particularly close to home for Smith, whose mother passed away from ovarian cancer in 1999 — and thus, the couple have been participating in the event for years, long before they went their separate ways.

Both Smith and Wellens — who formerly co-headlined PrankvsPrank as well as the daily vlog channel BfvsGF — have gone on to spearhead their own YouTube ventures in the wake of their breakup, with Wellens taking over the former channel (10.6 million subscribers) and Smith taking over the latter (9.2 million). While their legions of fans were presumably sad to hear of the couple’s split years ago, their reunion — which marks the first time that the couple has “publicly appeared together in years,” according to Smith — was clearly a heartening moment for longtime viewers.
“I love you both and I loved seeing your relationship on camera,” wrote Twitter user Beauty With Bel. “It helped me smile on so many days I needed it. I’m glad you’re on good terms.”
