One-year-old Facebook Watch has arguably yet to break through the cultural zeitgeist in a notable way with any original programming released thus far.
On Nov. 21, however, the social network’s episodic video hub is hoping that could change with the premiere of Queen America — a high-end scripted comedy starring Catherine Zeta-Jones. In the show, Zeta-Jones plays a renowned and ruthless pageant coach in Oklahoma whose reputation is at stake when she must transform an unpolished young woman (played by A Million Ways To Die In The West’s Belle Shouse) into bonafide pageant material.
The series also stars Judith Light (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Jennifer Westfeldt (Younger), and Victoria Justice (Victorious).

Facebook Watch completed its international rollout late last month — though visibility of the service remains fairly dubious given that a recent study found roughly half of Facebook users had no idea what it was.
Another highly-anticipated Watch series slated to roll out in coming weeks is a prank show from reality star Kim Kardashian titled You Kiddin’ Me, which arrives on Sept. 22. On that show, Kardashian will help celebrities plan pranks on their family members. In addition to the Kardashian clan, You Kiddin’ Me will feature appearances by Zoe Saldana, T.I., Lisa Rinna, and Gabriel Iglesias. Check out trailers for both series below:
