19-Year-Old Vlogger Jessie Paege Teams With Hot Topic On Merch Collection

Lifestyle creator Jessie Paege is launching her own merchandise collection — and she’s teaming up with ubiquitous mall retailer Hot Topic to bring her T-shirts and pins to the masses.

Pieces will be available in over 100 stores and Hot Topic’s website beginning Aug. 27. The shirts, priced at $20.90, boast quippy sayings like ‘Your Self Worth Is Not Based On The Opinion Of Others’ — written in rainbow lettering. Other slogans include: ‘Soft Emo’, ‘Send Memes’, ‘Support Singers And Instrumentalists’, and ‘It’s Trash Can Not Trash Can’t’. Paege has been a longtime Hot Topic shopper, she says, and  she turned down collaborations with other stores in order to work with the company.

To fete the line, Paege will host a meet-and-greet at Hot Topic in Los Angeles on launch day. Ticket sales will be available in coming days. Paege, who recently came out of the closet as bisexual, can next be seen in the second season of Guilty Party: History Of Lying, a YouTube series incubated via AT&T’s Hello Lab. Paege, who is signed to UTA, released an activity book titled Hey, It’s Okay To Be You last summer.

Check out Paege’s announcement video, in which she talks about coming to grips with her own individuality and turning to Hot Topic as a kind of “home base after a battle” — below. Paege, who called the collection “the biggest announcement of my life,” said that additional items could be added in the future pending reception of the initial drop.
