The much-hyped boxing match between Logan Paul and KSI hasn’t happened yet, but Paul is already appealing for a spot in the UFC slate. The YouTuber, who recently walked out of a London press conference after KSI insulted his father and girlfriend, told TMZ that he wants to challenge a UFC fighter.
“I want to get in the octagon,” he says in the video interview posted by TMZ. “Yeah, bro, I wrestled my whole life. Bro, there’s no reason I can’t. I literally did athletics my whole life. Dana White, you watching this, bro? Pick a fighter for me, dude. Late next year.”
Whether or not Paul is being totally serious is impossible to know. He mentioned mixed martial artist CM Punk as a potential competitor, and his brother and fellow YouTuber Jake brought up featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

Paul does have wrestling experience. For a documentary he’s currently working on — about “where I was at in my life and the psyche of what actually happened” back in January, when he uploaded a vlog including footage of the dead body of a suicide victim in Aokigahara — he interviewed his high school wrestling coach and talked to the school’s current team.
Paul’s match with KSI will be pay-per-view livestreamed Aug. 25 on a YouTube channel created for the event. The current going rate for access is $10, up from the $8 rate if you bought in before Aug. 1.
