Starting today, Twitch is hosting a Korean drama (“K-drama”) marathon in partnership with digital network DramaFever.
The marathon begins at 10:00 am PT with episodes one through three of the series Let’s Fight Ghost. Overall, the showcase will feature 254 episodes from 26 Asian drama series, including Goblin: The Lonely And Great God, Heirs, My Sassy Girl, and My Secret Romance. Twitch will also stream the full seasons of Jealousy Incarnate, Hospital Ship, and Thumping Spike.
DramaFever series will stream on Twitch Wednesdays through Saturdays until Aug. 25 on the Twitch Presents channel, which has previously hosted episodes of Saturday Night Live, Doctor Who, and Power Rangers.
Jane Weedon, Twitch’s director of business development, said in a statement that “Korean dramas have become a cultural phenomenon outside of Asia…Because crossover appeal exists between fans of K-dramas and some of the popular content on Twitch, like anime, we are fortunate that DramaFever has so many great K-dramas to share with our community.”
DramaFever series will be available to Twitch viewers in the US, Latin America, and Canada. Check out the showcase right here.
