Sony Uploaded An Entire Feature Film To YouTube — Rather Than Just Its Trailer

In something of an unfathomable faux-pas, Sony Pictures temporarily uploaded an entire feature film to YouTube rather than just its red-band trailer.

The hour-and-a-half-long movie, titled Khali The Killer, has since been removed from the Sony Pictures YouTube channel — though it was live for for roughly six hours, during which time it was viewed approximately 11,000 times, The Independent reports. Commenters wondered whether the upload was a marketing stunt, according to CBR, and also expressed their sympathy for the employees who would presumably be taking the fall for the fiasco.

Khali The Killer, which first premiered on DVD last November, follows a Los Angeles man (played by Richard Cabral) who becomes a hitman to pay for his ailing grandmother’s end-of-life care. However, he becomes confronted with difficult decisions upon developing empathy for his targets.
